"My life has been significantly influenced by Coach Bec. She coached me for only a year, but in that time she completely changed the way I thought about softball. I had trouble with my mental game as a pitcher, but we used a lot of different strategies to improve it over the fall season and into the spring. These strategies caused my game to significantly improve for the better. I truly think that without Coach Bec's mentorship, I would not be the mentally tough athlete I am now. She was always there to support me anytime I needed it."
"The one thing I love about Coach Bec was how real and honest she is about everything. I was someone who struggled a lot with the mental side of the game and it was a make or break for me. One of the moments that I will always remember was when I thought that how I played would affect how people saw me and it got to a point where I was ready to quit. Coach Bec was the one who talked me out of it and I am still so grateful that I had someone beside me who believed in me more than I could believe in myself. She was the one person who I could go to about my struggles and she made me feel heard and seen. She was not only a coach to me but someone who I could count on and lean on when I couldn't count on myself. She has helped me tremendously through the mental part of my game. I wouldn't be the player I am today without Coach Bec by my side and I will forever be grateful that she was put in my life when I needed it most - not only as a player but as a person who needed someone to believe in them more than they could believe in themselves."
"Coach Bec introduced mental imagery to me and it completely changed my perspective on how I approached each game. Having a set time before each game to sit down, calm my nerves, and visualize what I wanted to accomplish drastically improved my game. The transition from high school to a collegiate sport was harder than I expected, but once mental imagery was introduced to me - it made the transition that much easier and also gave me the chance to make the most of each opportunity I was given, because of the fact that I had already played the game in my head."
"Rebecca Murray is an outstanding person who knows so much about athletics. She knows how to help athletes from the mental side all the way to the athletic side. I went to the coaches symposium for Union County coaches and listened to Rebecca's speech. She has so much knowledge and experience and knows how to connect with each individual she is working and speaking with. I highly recommend Rebecca as anyone would be lucky to work with her!"
